Mike LaBahn - President
Mike LaBahn is a father of five and a man of great accomplishments. He started LaBahn's landscaping in 1981, and for several years maintained the business in addition to working another full-time job. Through much hard work and persistence, Mike finally achieved his goal of being a business owner. It has been a long and rewarding process.
Along with being a successful entrepreneur, Mike is also a board member at his church and is actively involved in important decisions regarding the church's direction. In addition, he is involved with coaching the boy's basketball team at his children's school. Mike and his wife Julie both give marriage counseling for other married couples, as well as separately mentor individuals one-on-one. Mike is in the final stages of publishing his very first book, "Money Management God's Way". He has also teaches classes on finance and gives various inspirational lectures on goal-setting.

Joanna LaBahn - Vice President
Joanna LaBahn grew up in the landscaping industry. She started going on walk-throughs with her dad at an early age. From that point on she took an interest in and began to love landscaping, notably the business aspect of it.
Joanna started from the ground up at the company five years ago. She began by interning at the office, working part-time to get experience in accounting and general office administration. After completing college, she decided her first job would be six months of work in the field. Joanna quickly transitioned to field supervisor and then aggressively tackled sales and marketing. She currently oversees the day-to-day operations of the company as Vice President.
Joanna holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from Cal State San Marcos. She is passionate about serving her community and working with the youth and Hispanic ministry at her church. She loves what she does because it enables her to pursue her passion in foreign mission with regular trips to places such as El Salvador and Mexico to help at orphanages.
Joanna thoroughly enjoys working with her father, where she can learn from his experience and business savvy. Her favorite part about the business is pursuing relationships with customers and helping her employees achieve their full potential.
 David LaBahn - Field Operations Manager
David, Mike's oldest son, has 3 years of hands on experience of working in the field. As Field Operations Manager, he draws from that experience to get the job done, making sure that what gets said in the office is communicated to those in the field. David enjoys being the intermediary of the office staff, and the guys on the crew.
Recently, David returned from an internship in New York with Metro Ministries. Through rigorous days of hard work, long hours, and being immersed in multi-cultural setting with people of all age and backgrounds, David has become well rounded and competent to the task set before him. He loves speaking Spanish, and so passionate is he about the Spanish language that he has chosen it to be his major and is presently working on getting his Bachelors degree. David enjoys hiking and working with the Bus Ministry at church, and loves spending time with kids.
Michael Salsberry - Director of Business Development
Michael Salsberry holds the position of Director of Business Development. He relishes the challenge and appeal of being in charge of the sales and marketing associated with business development. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from La Sierra University.
In his free time, Michael enjoys competitive sports and being involved with music. A recreational pilot, he is obsessed with traveling, both within the United States and internationally. Although he was born in National City, he has lived in several different areas of the country and currently resides in El Cajon.
Sharon Specht - Office Manager
Sharon brings over 10 years of experience in small business operations and customer service to help our thriving business grow. She oversees the accounting practices at our home office so please consider her your first point of contact for any financial inquiries.
Sharon lives in the East County, has three adult children and three grandchildren that keep life full and busy when out of the office.
 Carey Worthy - Account Manager
Before joining LaBahn's, Carey held several different jobs in the landscaping industry, including that of designer, consultant, purchasing agent and contractor. In 2009, she joined LaBahn's as an account manager and thoroughly enjoys the variety of tasks her job affords her, as well as developing lasting relationships with her co-workers and clients. Carey enjoys being involved with various organizations and community events that are geared toward sustainability and conservation.
Carey has completed four years of college and has received two degrees: an A.S. in Landscape Architecture from Southwestern College and an A.A. from San Diego Mesa College.
Oscar Montoya - Account Manager
Oscar has been involved with the landscaping industry for the past six years, teaming up with LaBahn's in 2008. He is passionate about landscaping and loves his current position because it allows him the flexibility to be a manager while still being in the field on a regular basis.
Music is another passion of Oscar's. He enjoys taking part in worship at his church and is an avid trumpet player. He currently lives in Potrero, CA with his wife and five-year-old son.
